Chill House Mix 1 - Summer 2002

I was a little disapointed with
this remix. You've could made it just fine with "Chill House Mix 3" and leave
by that. As I see it, they are almost exact replica of one and the other. The
first half was quite great but then it stumbles and goes off in a way I just
don't know how to explain. As like you've lost momentum where you wanted to
improve it. Sorry for the bad feedback. If you'll let me, that is.

I'm a big fan of your mixes but
to be honest theres one track that keeps cropping up in mixes and just doesnt
fit.... South street players "Who keeps changing your mind". It just doesnt do
it for me and seems often to be at odds with the rest of the tracks on a mix.
The chicane mixes and these recent mixes do a great job of getting me to drive
to work quickly and put me in a great mood while I'm typing stuff into the PC
in the office with my ipod on... however that one track... eeech!
I'm a big fan of dirty vegas, jakatta and royksopp so if you can fit any of
that in in future mixes - great!

I give it a 10 for all the great
songs on it. But Riv, I really thought you would correct the Manson version.
To me the rest was fine and I do understand changing the last few mixes...But
Manson Riv, Manson.

we never can change the
past......as you know I follow you from the beginning and I can't understand
the reason to work again over this work. We learn from every single moment of
our life and under my opinion the first step is always the first. Perhaps I'm
wrong in this case but you know how much I love all your works exactly as they
are. No problem, it's your work your sensation your soul.....I taken your
emotion in this chill house mix 1 and I made them into my life, into my
dreams. Nothing can be change from the past in my memory. have a nice spring
my far mate. I'm still to follow and love you and all your music.

Well, I know what you mean, but the
things changed in this version prior to the first release had to be re-edited
because I had mistakenly used a already mixed part of Cafe del Mar's Chill
House 2 compilation. What I thought was one song where infact 2 or 3 songs
already mixed by the Cafe Del Mar deejay Bruno and that is not very
proffessional in my point of view, so therefor I had to take the mix down and
re-edit it. I hope this answers your questions!

I miss home. I am away from my
loved ones for almost a year now and the thought of coming home this summer is
something I really look forward to. Your mixes has been my constant
'companion' in long jouneys on trains and planes. It makes travel a little bit
more 'magical'. The choice of music is very inspiring esp. most of Chicane's
works. I can't wait to hop on that plane & take this NEW and IMPROVED mix with
me. That way, my 15 hours flight will simply be 'awe and inspiring'!!! Again,
thank you River for letting me see the world in a more 'chilled' way!!!
